KidPoint is a fun and safe environment and the best hour of their week!  We believe in teaching kids about Jesus on their level, and through acting and activities the Bible truly comes to life!

0-2 Years old

From the ages 6 weeks - 2 years old, children will be split up into age appropriate classrooms and learn about Jesus until they move up to the 3 years old classroom. Each week kids will enjoy age appropriate lessons, toys, and snacks.

Clubhouse
(3 years old)

The Clubhouse is where 3 year olds will have their own worship session and bible story. Each week kids will enjoy age appropriate lessons, toys, and snacks.

Playhouse
(K4-K5)

In Playhouse, 4-6 year olds will have their own worship session and bible story. Each week kids will enjoy age appropriate lessons, toys, and snacks. The Playhouse classroom even has live acting to help bring the Bible to life and get them ready to move up to Blast Zone!

Blast Zone

The BlastZone is where 1st-3rd graders will learn to worship Jesus in their own special worship service. Kids learn through live acting, small groups, games, and fun worship songs.

NON-ROTATING VOLUNTEERS

KidPoint volunteers are not assigned on a rotating basis.  This allows a child to become familiar with their caretakers instead of learning new faces each week! For this reason, it is best to bring children to the same service time each week to help them build relationships.

It is possible for children to be photographed/videoed for use in printed, social, and other published mediums for 5 Point Church or KidPoint while in KidPoint areas. Please tell the check in desk if your child’s photos should be excluded from publication.

BaseOps.png

Base Ops is where children with special needs learn about Jesus no matter the need. Children are mainstreamed into their age appropriate ministry, through one-on-one shadowing and individual accommodations. A classroom/sensory room is offered for children who benefit from a calmer atmosphere. It is our goal to meet your child where they are. Base Ops is offered during our 10:15 and 11:45 services.

Frequently Asked Questions

What can I expect when I arrive for the first time in KidPoint?

Here in KidPoint, we LOVE our first time guests. First time guests are given a special sticker at check-in to let us know they’ve never been here before. Our staff, teachers and students are trained to look for these stickers and make an extra effort in welcoming, comforting and helping our First Time Guests. From the minute a child arrives at 5 Point Church to the minute they are picked up to go home, we want to make sure they have the Best Hour of their week.

How do I know that my child is safe while they are in KidPoint?

We keep it safe in KidPoint and have security present at all times. All persons entering our KidPoint are either serving as a Legacy Team Member or dropping off/picking up children. In addition to this, all volunteers are background and reference checked before they serve. You will see each volunteer wearing a name tag to identify they have been cleared to serve. You as the parent or guardian are the only ones with access to pick up your child in their classroom with a matching code that is on the child's sticker and parent sticker. Legacy Team Members will check those tags to make sure those codes match and kids are going home safely with their parent or guardian.

Do you allow children in your worship services?

Here at 5 Point Church we strive to have a distraction free service so we do not allow children in the auditorium during our worship services.  We want children to experience Jesus taught on their level. Our vision at KidPoint is for our kids to have the best hour of their week and we know they will learn about Jesus and have fun while they are in their own service.

Do you have a place for new moms?

We have a nursing mother's room in KidPoint for all of our nursing mothers and their babies up to 12 weeks old. This room is a place designed for mother's to nurse while viewing the morning service. We welcome your baby in KidPoint at 6 weeks and would love for you to tour our baby room and also introduce you to our amazing Legacy Team Members to make the transition easy for mom and baby.

Are there any tools provided by KidPoint to help parents connect with what their children are learning in church?
