KidJam is a session for parents and children to discuss what being a Christ-follower really means. Make plans to attend if your child says he or she is ready for salvation or baptism, or if they have begun asking questions about salvation or baptism.

The Prayer Walk 2024 will take place on March 16 at 4:00 pm. Like in previous years, groups will meet in designated areas along your routes, so check the landing page for where your group is meeting.

Once you are done, we will have a worship service at the church to close out the 24 Hours of Praise.

Registration has closed but you are still more than welcome to choose a route and participate. You will meet at the route at 3:45 pm on March 16.

Have you or someone that you care about ever struggled with sexual impurity? Are you carrying the weight of being broken and ashamed? Men and Woman are encouraged to sign up for this 8 week course and begin your journey to life change! We will learn about:

• the role shame plays in unwanted sexual behavior 
• how pain and trauma affect our brain 
• what you need to start your own healing journey! 
• how sexual brokenness affects relationships
• how to heal the wounds of our past

IMPORTANT: This class is going to run on Tuesday nights for 8 weeks, starting at 6:30 PM. Please make sure you are able to commit to this each week! You will check in each week!

This 6 week course seeks to facilitate an environment where believers, both new and mature, will be formed into fuller disciples of Jesus Christ in accordance with the Scriptures.

The next class will meet on Tuesdays at 6:30 pm in Classroom 4.

Please register for our annual Single’s Workshop! This event will take place on Feb 23rd from 6:30pm-9:30pm at 5 Point Church. The cost is $15 and dinner is provided. We will hear from speakers in all walks of life who have wisdom to share on topics like online dating, trauma and healing, single parenting and more! We will have a main session with Pastor Dean Herman, games and 2 breakout sessions with 4 options for you to choose from.

SPRING 2024 CLASS: CHRISTOLOGY

START DATE: FEBRUARY 7TH
at Community Bible Church

Who is Jesus Christ? Is Jesus God? Did He ever really claim to be God? Why did He pray? And was He talking to Himself? Is there a difference in the Son of Man and the Son of God? What is the hypostatic union? In order to have a proper understanding of the second person of the Trinity, we need to answer these questions and more. Was Jesus man or God? Or both? And why?

This is a class for Juniors and Seniors in High School only. The cost is $5 (please bring cash on the first night) and the duration is 5 Sunday nights from 6-7:30pm, from January 28th to February 25th. This class is led by Behavioral Health Services, and taught at 5 Point Church. 

Here are some topics being covered:
Automotive: how to change a flat tire, check fluid, pump gas, change oil
Medical: scheduling doctor’s appointments, insurance basics, simple first aid
Employment: building a resume, interviewing basics, professional attire, cover letters
Money: Budgeting, credit cards, taxes, online banking
Self-care and Social Skills: Appropriate attire, sleep, stress management, basic hygiene, setting boundaries, and self-respect

We are hosting our first ever Connections Fair! This will take place on Jan 28th from 1pm-3pm at 5 Point Church. The purpose of this fair is to let everyone know we have tons of opportunities for you to connect (we don’t just have volunteering and life groups!). Come find out there is so much more! Please register your children if you are bringing them. Lunch is provided.

The FREEDOM in CHRIST 13 week course is for every Christian, from those who have been Christians for a long time to those who have just made that decision, from those who are progressing steadily to those who feel stuck. This course does not focus on how to behave but on how to believe. After all, Christ has already set us free and given us everything we need. It’s just that sometimes it doesn’t feel like it.

5 Point Church and the City of Easley are excited to bring you breakfast with Santa. Come and join us on December 2nd from 10 am -12 pm for this FREE event for the entire family.

Please register every family member so we can plan accordingly.

We will be offering pancakes, pictures with Santa and so many more fun children's activities throughout the church. Our annual Christmas market will also be going on in the parking lot so come out and shop with our vendors!

Please register for this amazing one day local mission opportunity! We will be at JC Cares' new location (112 Robinson Ave Easley, SC).

We will be doing some painting, manual labor, cleaning and organizing, so dress accordingly! Men and women ages 15 and up only please. Water and snacks will be provided. 

Baby Dedication will be on August 27, 2023 at 5pm. Children from birth to 5th grade are welcome to be dedicated by their guardians.

This is not an infant baptism. This is a ceremony for the parents to dedicate themselves to raise their children in a Godly home.

Your family and friends are welcome to come and children are welcome to attend the service. 

Pastor Dean will be teaching the Old Testament Workshop on Sunday nights beginning August 13th from 6 - 7:30pm. This workshop will run 6-8 weeks.
